Pete had been ill for several years following a stroke but the writer remembers many happy years being involved in the club when Pete was an active player and a very active tourist! He was an all round top bloke who loved his hockey and all the social aspects that came with it. He had a howitzer of a short corner strike and represented all that is good about Finchfield Hockey Club. He will be very fondly remembered by all who knew him.

The anticipated lifting of restrictions should mean FHC members will be able to pay their respects. I will advise funeral arrangements as soon as I can.
