Finches succumb to lack of concentration

Sleeping Finches pay the price
Finches struggle away at Redditch
This week Finchfield travelled away to a strong Redditch side who had changed their team and added some youth to their squad.
Finchfield were slow to start and the bad start cost them by going a goal down with about 10 minutes on the clock. Luckily Finches managed to pull together to grab an equaliser through the fantastic Henry Crampton. After scoring the goal Finchfield once again fell asleep in defence and conceded a very controversial goal.
After half time a slow Finches side failed to wake up again as Redditch added 3 more goals in relatively quick succession as Finchfield failed to adapt to the pace and bounce of the Redditch pitch. The game finished 4-1 as Finchfield lacked concentration and it was a very negative result which they are hoping to clear out of their heads by Saturday as they’re first league game is away to Stratford.
