Finchfield Ladies 1st team enjoyed a great first friendly coming out of lockdown. Playing a team from mixed divisions, div 6, div 5 and div 3, Finchfield showed a promising start for Winter League. Jessica Hinman scored for the Finches towards the end of the first half to give the visitors the lead.

The second half saw Bromsgrove grab an equaliser and it was down to Angelika in goal to save her first Flick keeping the pressure on at 1-1.

FT: 1-1

Well executed weekly training certainly showed through in today’s game. It was Finchfield Ladies first time fielding our new players together; they worked well as a team and settled into positions.
