Finches U16's made the journey to Nottingham to face what proved to be a well drilled Beeston side.

With many of the Finches side having never experienced the game on a water-based surface, the bounces and speed of the game played into the hosts hands. With Beeston pressing hard, Finches struggled to clear their lines and found themselves four goals down by half time.

Half Time: 4-0

Finches pulled one back in the second half, but Beeston dominated, hitting the back of the net a further six times. The extra players on the bench helping the home side maintain the pressure they were asserting on the Finches.

Full Time: 10-1

This ended Finchfields run in the cup for this season, but the experience gained will benefit all. Lessons need to be learnt, but we are proud of the effort the team displayed.
